Save The Date: Special Town Board Meeting Sept. 29

As mentioned in a statement read by Lansing Town Supervisor Ruth Groff at the Town Board Meeting this week, Lansing will have a Special Town Board meeting at the Lansing Middle School September 29 at 6:30pm. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss Governor Hochul's Executive Order 62 (the data center moratorium EO), how it affects the Town of Lansing, and options for the Town.

The town board is considering all their options: a data center ban, implementing a local moratorium, or taking no action. They want to hear input from the community and the public will have one hour for public comment. The full details have not been released about who can speak and for how long, so be on the lookout for more information from the Town!

Show up, wear red, and support Lansing to enact a data center ban!
