FLX Strong
FLX Strong is a community-based organization of Finger Lakes residents dedicated to protecting our lakes and promoting the long-term well-being of the region. They recently partnered with CLEAN to file an Article 78 lawsuit against TeraWulf and the Lansing Zoning Board of appeals.
CLEAN
Cayuga Lake Environmental Action Now (CLEAN) is an independent advocacy group that works to protect Cayuga Lake and its watershed from industrial and agricultural sources of environmental pollution (chemical, noise, light, and smell). Based in Lansing, CLEAN works with researchers, local environmental groups, and a legal team to address the risks that a data center and a working power plant at the old Cayuga Power site—which is A brownfield—would pose to Cayuga Lake, the Cayuga Shores Wildlife Management Area, and local wildlife and residents.
Seneca Lake Guardian
Seneca Lake Guardian is a New York State Not-for-Profit Corporation with 501(c)(3) and is dedicated to preserving and protecting the health of the Finger Lakes, its residents and visitors, its rural community character, and its agricultural and tourist related businesses through public education, citizen participation, engagement with decision makers, and networking with like-minded organizations.
Ithaca Democratic Socialists
Ithaca DSA is a local chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America. They have an EcoSocialism Subcomittee that is dedicated to building local solidarity and winning national progressive environmental policy through a shared love of the world we inhabit. They are involved in fighting TeraWulf’s proposed AI data center in the Cayuga Lake community and have been taken action by phone banking, spreading awareness through social media, participating in activism against this data center at local meetings, and more.
